about
This song came about when Jon sent me a backing track and asked me to add bass. When I heard the chorus section I kept hearing a melody and the words: I will be a King, you will be my Queen. The melody and lyrics progressed from there.
lyrics
I Will Be A King
If you ever let me hold you
I would never let you go
And if you ever, ever told me
I’m the one guy you would like to know
I will hear your voice, you will be my dream
And I can show that you mean everything
I will be a King and you would be my Queen
Together we can conquer anything
Together we will last forever
It could never be any better
And when you’re lonely, and you need some company
I’d be right there if you needed me
I will hear your voice, you will be my dream
And I can show that you mean everything
I will be a King and you would be my Queen
Together we can conquer anything
I will hear your voice, you will be my dream
And I will say that you mean everything
I will be a King, you will be my Queen
Together we will conquer anything
